They accomplished an amazing amount – what a team!
Estrella was disrobed and disassembled yesterday afternoon in preparation for carpet replacement. It was an extensive – and fascinating! – process.
And this morning, the marionettes were moved and carpet was quickly pulled up – all of the first floor and much of the second were carpet-less before 9am. The Museum is oddly bare and echo-y.
(Even Dan Butterworth seems surprised!)
New carpet to come next week...
